So it appears my last blog post was almost 2 years ago. I would like to say I’ve been busy however I am fundamentally one of the laziest people I know but honestly; why do today what can be done tomorrow, or, if you a pro procrastinator like me, in 2 years’ time. Hence why it’s taken me 2 years to write another post. That and I find it REALLY complicated to add pictures and stuff in, but you’ve all (apart from perhaps a couple of people we know – you know who you are) read a book without pictures in it, so I’m just thinking, get over it.
I had written a whole post but as usual it didn’t save and I lost the lot. In the meantime I drank a beer and tried to ignore Lee who had been quiet for 5 minutes. In that time he managed to both eat the chicken that was for dinner and dismantle the entire boat which was both impressive and a little frustrating. To say the least. I ate some crisps, drank a beer and contemplated different ways to kill him. I then decided that it might be easier to write the blog on my tablet. This is for a variety of reasons.
I have found it REALLY complicated to add pictures to the posts. It normally starts with Lee asking when I’m going to start writing the blog again. I say I need help with the pictures. He directs me towards a file minimiser he’s installed on my laptop. But for this to work I have to add photos to it. Which would be fine but Lee decided they all needed storing in the cloud. Wherever or whatever that is. Thus begins the conversation about what cloud storage they are in, as clearly we need more storage than NASA and at some point seem to have purchased numerous extra cloud accounts. I then have to ask Lee the username and password. He says the usual. I say it doesn’t work. He has forgotten to save it in the phone on the Notes app under the cunningly disguised subheading of Passwords. He says add a 1 and a! at the end. We then move through the alphabet like this for about 20 minutes with a matrimonial discussion or 2 thrown in for good measure. By this point I’m either bored and on YouTube watching some random Japanese woman cooking and going to Ikea or we are on the brink of divorce. Until now.
I have just spent 2 hours downloading the programme thingy onto my tablet and trying to reset passwords and usernames. Which, I might add, I have saved. I can now just add in photos without the previous hassle. So fingers crossed we are now good to go! In the meantime let’s do a quick recap of the last 2 years.
Covid.
And now that’s all sorted I can restart the blog on our new to us Moody 47, also named Diablito. Ciao for now! And here’s a photo just to show what a clever sausage I am 😁.
Glad you’re back lovely xxx
